Sati Pasala mindfulness programme was conducted at Wadduwa Balika Vidyalaya, Kaluthara on 9th January 2020. The programme was conducted by Sati Pasala Facilitators and all students with staff members participated. Mindful Walking, Sitting, Eating, Listening and mindful games were used to give the massage of mindfulness to students and how to be mindful during day to day school activities were introduced.

The monthly Sati Pasala program at the Dhamma Sarana Vihara (Melbourne, Australia) was held on 21 December 2019, with the participation of about thirty-three children. Following the preliminary instructions, the session started with the first segment on ‘Understanding mindfulness’. A short video clip reminded how busy we are in our daily life and highlighted the importance of cultivating calmness in mind enabling beautiful qualities to arise. How to facilitate the development of calmness in mind was discussed emphasizing the importance of practising mindful walking, sitting, and doing other daily activities mindfully.

A day camp was held at the Thames Buddhist Vihara, United Kingdom on the 24th November 2019 under the patronage and the blessings of Venerables Siridhamma Thero, Dhammapala Thero (Head of TBV) and Narada Thero. Nearly 68 children attended the event which lasted from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some parents participated as active helpers and others as observers.
