We are pleased to announce that International Mindfulness Camp Sydney 2019 is now open for registration.
International Mindfulness Camp is a residential camp held for children participating in Sati Pasala sessions globally.

Dear Delegates, those who are in Colombo and are close to the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute may drop in on the above dates between 10.30am and 4.00pm to collect the Delegate Badge. Please remember to bring your Delegate Number with you. Kindly retain both the Delegate Number and Badge, until the Summit is over.
You may produce these at the Inauguration on the 23rd February.

Celebrating 100 years of service

The Vajirararama Bambalapitiya, Daham Pasala celebrated its century in a fitting manner by introducing students to mindfulness. The Sati Pasala team introduced mindfulness and instructed students on mindfulness exercises such as walking mindfully, sitting mindfully, mindful listening, calming and composing the mind using the magic-mind-jar, and listening mindfully.

Sati Pasala Sydney, Australia inaugural public event

Most Ven. U Dhammajiva Maha Thero conducted a Special Sati Pasala session in Sydney on 16th of December 2017 themed “Practice with Maha Thero”.

For Sati Pasala Sydney this was the first public event since its initiation in August 2017. It was also the first time that Most Ven. Dhammajiva Thero participated in a session and hence a very special occasion for the children. There were 55 children and an equal number of adults.

Mindfulness in the Sri Lanka Parliament

Mindfulness was introduced to the staff of the Sri Lanka Parliament for the first time on 30th January 2018. More than 400 participants attended two mindfulness induction sessions. The latter consisted of sharing a basic understanding on mindfulness, instructions on mindful sitting and mindful walking, calming and composing the mind using the magic-mind-jar, instructions on mindful eating, and how to listen to the sound of silence using the singing bowl. A lively discussion ensued.
