The Sati Pasala Foundation keeps receiving requests for induction into mindfulness and guided mindfulness programs for doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals. A group of resource persons are being assembled in order commence mindfulness training for these groups that have requested such programs. Adverting the mind in Advertising: Sati Pasala at Shift

Shift Agency, is a reputed advertising agency in Colombo which recently showed interest in mindfulness and in learning about Sati Pasala. They were also keen to become partners with us in organizing the Global Mindfulness Summit next year. A convoluted mind vs the mind as a blooming flower

A Sati Pasala special program was conducted at the Gampaha Thakshila Vidyalaya on November 8th. Of special interest were the pictorial and poetic feedback recorded from the students. The image of a confused and tangled mind, drawn as multiple squiggles in convoluted circles was striking in contrast to the sketch of a blooming flower – depicting the mind of the same artist student at the end of the Sati Pasala program.

Introduction of Sati Pasala to a few schools in Balangoda

This program was organized by the Wikiliya & Hopewell Tea factories in collaboration with the Zonal Education office in Balangoda.
There were six schools selected for the first phase with around 1290 participants, including students, prefects, and members of the Parent Teacher Association-(PTS), old boys-(OB) and school teachers.

Sati Pasala awareness program conducted at SUDARMA VIDYALAYA, Galle

As the first step of creating awareness that Sati Pasala is a secular program, we were delighted to have had the opportunity to conduct an awareness program to Sudarma Vidayalaya, Galle on the 31st October 2017. This is a Sinhala Muslim mixed provincial school. Both parents & teachers from these two communities were invited to attend this program.

Mindfulness @ Meepe

From the 3rd November evening Education Officials from all the Provinces in Sri Lanka began to gather in Meepe for an exposure and experience into mindfulness. The Sati Pasala Meepe event was unique, in that it drew a large number of officials from the Northern, Eastern, Uva, Sabaragamuwa, North Central, Western, Southern, Wayamba and Central Provinces, into residential accommodation and a two day exciting mindfulness camp.

Sati Pasala at Polonnaruwa on November 1st

At the first National Schools Teacher Educators mindfulness gathering held in Colombo in January 2017, we pledged to introduce mindfulness through Sati Pasala to all the National schools (353) in all nine provinces before December this year. Having successfully completed this ambitious mission in eight provinces, today, at the premier national school Polonnaruwa Rajakeeya Vidyalaya, in the North Central Province, teachers, principals and senior school prefects gathered for a special mindfulness induction program.
