Sati Daham Pasala

Dartry Valley Tea Factory has organized Sati Pasala programme at Pannilathenna Dhamma School – Gampola on 17th February 2019 from 8 am to 12.00 pm. The participants included more than 250 including Dhamma School students from 2 Dhamma schools. In the Sati Pasala for Dhamma school teachers program, each Dhamma School ask separate programmes in their Dhamma Schools. As the very initial step we organized Sati Pasala for these two Dhamma Schools.

Sati Pasala mindfulness programme was held at Sri Sumangala Dhamma School, Kurukudhe Temple on 27th of January 2019. The Programme was conducted by most ven. Rajasinghegama Thilakadhamma Thero. About 150 students participated in the programme and mindfulness was introduced to them via various activities including Mindful Walking, Mindful Listening, Mindful Eating, Mindful Sitting and several other Mindful Games.

Sati Pasala Mindfulness Programme was organized at Dharmadutha Daham Pasala, Pagoda, Nugegoda On 3rd February 2019. The programme was conducted by Mr Hemantha Ranawaka and Miss Mallika Jayaratne. About 300 students participated in the programme. Students were guided to practice several mindful activities including mindful walking, mindful sitting, mindful eating, mindful listening and mindful Jar. At the end of the programme, students shared their experience with Sati Pasala facilitators.

Sati Pasala programme was held at Sri Dharmamali Daham Pasala, Medawala Rajapihillaramaya on 06th of January 2019. About 60 students participated in the programme which was conducted by most Ven. Rajasinghegama Thilakadhamma Thero. Mindful facilitators conducted several mindful activities including mindful listening, mindful sitting, mindful waking and mindful eating.

New Hopewell & Wikiliya Team has organized a Sathi Pasala programme at Meewellawa Vidyalaya, Thirappane on 27th January 2019 for 5 dhamma schools. There are more than 320 dhamma school teachers and students participated in the programme.

Ven. Kurunegala Sobhitha Thero conducted the programme and it was one of the successful programmes. This group is living in a very rural area among lots of difficulties. Among those hardships, students are doing their studies. So that “Sathi Pasala” programme is a great helping hand to this vulnerable group.
